Getting Started With MyPlan

• Take Assessments

Click on the MyPlan link on the Career Services homepage and follow the login instructions

Visit:http://mtu.myplan.com

MyPlan is an online career planning site that uses personality tests, interest inventory, and other assessment tests to help you choose a career.

Create Account

www.career.mtu.edu/students/myplan

Click the Create Free Account button

1. Complete the profile information

2. Check the box next to Terms of Use and Privacy Policy

3. Hit the Continue Button

Create AccountEnter the License Code available on www.career.mtu.edu/students/myplan

Check the box next to “Share results with career advisor”

Hit Submit to complete registration

Create Account

You are now in MyPlan.

Next step… Assessment

Take AssessmentsClick on the Assessment tab.

NOTE:Each career assessment test should say “Licensed!”. If there is a cost, you have not entered the license code in correctly.

Click on a test name to begin.

Start Assessment

Click the Start Test button

Finish Assessment

Personality Type Report Personality Type Statistics Career Match

Each assessment has its own results page.

After you take all 4 assessments, a career advisor can help you interpret the results.
