My Pilgrimage

My Pilgrimige will not be far away

I am going to visit my Dad's grave. This will be important to me because my Dad was a very important part of my life and it would be great to say goodbye again.

How will I get there?I will be staying at my grans house, she lives only a few minutes from the Cemetery. I will take the 157 bus to Crystal Palace, then the 202 near my grans house and walk from there. The journey will take about two- three hours. I will stay overnight and the next day visit.

What will I take with me?I will take flowers and a brush to

clean the gravestone a bit. My Mum will also come, but my Gran will probarbly choose not to.

What will I do there?I will visit the gravestone and pray. I will also think about my Dad and wish him goodbye again. Then I'll clean the gravestone and place the flowers on it. After that I will sit on the bench and go home.

What spiritual significance does the

place have to me?A lot. My Dad's grave is an important way to remember him and this visit will give me another chance to say goodbye.
