BRIEF PROGRAM DESCRIPTION/GOALS:MELE utilizes a comprehensive music business and production curriculum meeting the require-ments for entry-level training of music industry and production professionals. The curriculum focuses on combining academic experience with real-world applications to prepare students to work in the rapidly evolving global music indus-try of the 21st century. The program core offers a rounded curriculum grounding students in the basics of the music industry, sound recording and the business of music.

DEGREES THAT CAN BE EARNED:Associate in Science (AS)

WHAT IS UNIQUE ABOUT THE PROGRAM:• Offers two distinct degree paths in Music Business Entertainment and Audio Engineering Technology.• Students learn in the Mike Curb MELE Studios, a state-of-the-art recording facility made possible by the Mike Curb Family Foundation.
