*P.E.–EVERYDAY!*Planners for every 5th grader

Homework Expectations*Homework sent home on Monday and due Friday*100 minutes of R.A.H. (requires parent signature)*Vocabulary (Will be tested on Friday)*No Homework Days- You will still see a form*Sign planners EVERY THURSDAY night. Students will be paid $5 Bascue Bucks for signatures on Friday.

Example of Homework

Weekly TestsTest will be given at the end of each week: -Math 4 Today -Vocabulary/ Grammar-Reading Assessment

*Students will also be tested in math and science. Teachers will give students notice before and will have a review day. Please check your students planner daily for notes.

GRADED WEEKLY TEST WILL BE SENT HOME ON MONDAYS

Class Work Expectations*Daily assignments are due by the end of the period.

*If not completed in class, students can take it home and turn it in the following day.

*Your student will have as many days to make up their missed work, as the number of days they were absent.

*Students lose one point per day on assignments that are turned in passed the due date.

Make-Up Work

*Students are expected to gather their work when they return to school.

*No work will be given in advance. All tests can be made-up when they return.

Pin Up/Pin Down Chart*Rewards students that follow school and class rules.

*Provides reminders to students that need it and allows them to turn it around and "pin up".

Money System •Students can earn “Bascue Bucks” for attendance, Mystery State, earning an ‘A’ grade on chapter tests, signed planners, etc.•Students have the opportunity to shop in our classroom store and spend their money at the end of the term auction.
