What is Moodle?

Moodle is your Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and allows your classroom to extend onto the web. It supports face-to-face teaching, with a range of flexible on-line tools, as well as providing a place for tutors to upload resources and create links for your course or module.

Enrolment

24 hours AFTER students are FULLY enrolled at the IOE they can access accounts including Moodle.

Important information

Before logging into Moodle for the first time you need to change your password

Choose your password carefully. You will be prompted to change your password at first logon and every 90 days.

Change you password on an IOE workstation or remotely via the Portal.

Note: If you have enrolled online you will not need to change your password at first logon.

As soon as possible once you have changed your password, register with the self-service password reset tool.

Use your IOE Office 365 email.

On IOE student workstations, use ‘Favourites’ on your web browser and select ‘Office 365 and IOE email’.
