Monsters!

What are some famous monsters that we

know? List 4.

Creating your monsters:1. Create 3 individual designs.

2. Then decide whether you want to work individually or with a partner.

3. Create a maquette whether with your partner or by yourself. It will be 6” tall and made out of clay

3. The Maquette:A small model of the final form

The maquette is ¼ the size of your papier-mâché Monster

Papier-mâché:4. SCULPT with papier-mâché to create your monster.

Items to sculpt with:

- Newspaper

- Paper towel tubes

- Model Magic

- Aluminum Wire

Final Surface

5. Paint your monster with expressive colors.

REMEMBER: This is a sculpting class. There are painting effects you can do, but eyes, lips, teeth, etc., need to be sculpted, no just painted on.
