Everybody Loves a Parade
On Saturday, March 21st, our church will participate in the Founders Day Parade with a real Conestoga wagon float followed by Reverend Daryl Higgins in his Corvette. To represent our continuing heritage,
old timers and newcomers to the church are invited to dress in any period of costume from 1845 to the
present and march behind the wagon and in front of the Corvette. All are welcome!
CELEBRATE 175 Years of Worship! On Sunday March 22nd, come celebrate 175 years of worship and fellowship at FPC. The 10:30 traditional and contemporary worship services on March 22nd
will praise God, especially for His presence through the years. We will remember our heritage and thank God
for those who have passed their love of Jesus Christ from generation to generation. Very special music is
planned that you won’t want to miss! There will be an expanded fellowship time prior to the services and in the courtyard with breakfast and music. We hope you will help us by inviting your family, former members
and friends to join us for this special day.If you wish to help us by sponsoring these events, the FPC 175th Committee is asking members to donate $175 to FPC. Please note “175 Fund” as a separate
donation from your tithes and gifts.

Postlude “Christ for the World We Sing” ~ Lani Smith
Thina SonkeOur anthem this morning, “Thina Sonke,” is a South African hymn in the Zulu dialect brought to world prominence through the performances of the Children of Agape Choir, an ensemble of children from the Agape orphanage, which is committed to caring for the Children of Africa who lost their parents during the AIDS epidemic. The text is reflective of the diversity and spirit of the people of South Africa and is actually in ‘Jo-burg Zulu’, a mixture of Zulu and Xhosa. Two verses sung by soloists are given response by the chorus during the refrain. Vs. 1: Father, we ask you to please give all of us strength in the world.Vs. 2: We trust in you, Father. We trust in you, Creator.Chorus: All of us on earth (in all the world).
