The "MOL Safety Standard Specifications" are unique to MOL and go beyond regulations set out in laws and international treaties, ensuring that MOL maintains a higher level of safety aboard its operated vessels. The specifications were first adopted in 2006 to draw upon the lessons of its earlier serious marine incidents, and are continually revised and updated based on its experiences.
The "MOL Safety Standard Specifications" currently comprise of total of 68 items as listed on this paper and highlighted items on the list are introduced on the brochure.
