Course Book
Course Description
Agricultural tractor and machinery are used to operate several different agricultural
operations including cultivating and controlling. Agricultural productions have been
increased since agricultural tractor and machinery have used in the sector. Agricultural
tractor and machinery factor to reduce labour requirement. Agricultural operation can be
done in short time and quality be increased by agricultural tractor and machinery.
Agricultural tractor and machinery have been operated at the beginning of 20th
century, but
in most currently agricultural countries in meddle have been used. Several modifications
have been occurred along the history of agricultural tractor and machinery in manes of P.T.O
and hydraulic System. Electric system and satellite in the Agricultural sector have switched
on at the end of 20th
century and beginning of 21st century. To conclude; Agricultural tractor
and machinery are used to increase product, perform operations in ideal time and correctly.
Course objectives
1. To illustrate crucial roles of agricultural tractor, types of tractor and structures of using it.
2. To identify main parts of agricultural tractor, structures of working and maintenance
processes.
3. To show safety and security of using the agriculture equipment and pesticides.
4. To identify different types of controlling equipment.
5. To know structures of working and maintenance processes of controlling equipment.
6. To show and design case study about efficiency of operations and ideal time to operate
agricultural operations by agricultural tractor machinery.
Student's obligation
1. Students have to attend theoretical and practical lectures to obtain primary information.
2. Students must done quiz weekly in practice lectures. 3. Suitable clothes, safety puts and Willington masks have to be used for practice lectures.
4. Scarf with loss style and other auxiliary items have not been used during practice
lectures.
5. Students must to complete homework, reports and seminars on time.
6. Obtained information of theory and practice lectures is student’s duty through several
different sources such as (notes during lectures, books, internet and journals.
