the end of iterphase  the cell will seem inactive but really this is the longest period of the cells life cycle.DNA is replicates, the centrioles divide, and proteins are made.

Prophase: the nucleolus fades away and replicated DNA and proteins condense into chromosomes.

Prometaphase: the nucleus is now gone spindle fibres from the centrosomes attach to the kinetochores

metaphase: tension builds by the spindle fibres they aligns all chromosomes in one plane at the center of the cell

Anaphase: Spindle fibers shorten, the kinetochores separate, and the chromatids are pulled apart and begin moving to the cell poles.

telophase: the spindle fibres that were pulled apart disappear.

Cytokinesis: the sister cells are now pulled apart the spindle fibres are no long er attached.
