VAPING & MARIJUANA PREVENTION PRESENTATION • MARCH 28Kern Behavioral Health invites families and the community of the Kern River Valley to attend a presentation on prevention at the Kern Valley High School media center/library on March 28 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Vaping and marijuana use are on the rise and we feel the need to share vital information about the effects of these substances. We hope you can join us. If you have any questions please email maggie_rivera@kernhigh.org or call Kern Valley High School Parent Center at 760-379-2611.
SOUTH FORK COMMUNITY FOUNDATION FUN RUN • MARCH 30We want our students to have a proper track and field: a grass field in the middle of a curbed and graded decomposed granite track surface. When the wind blows, our students get sandblasted while they are running. Having a proper track will inspire the students to run faster, and run more. The play field in the middle will be an asset to the PE program, and will be able to be used by the community for AYSO and youth football. All races will start at 9 a.m. from the school track. The course is all dirt: be prepared for trail conditions. Not a runner? Come hike and walk with us! All parking will be at the school. Please arrive by 8:30 a.m. to pick up your packet. (Earliest packet pick-up/registration will be 7:45 a.m.) Water stations and water bottles will be provided. From Hwy 178, turn south onto Kelso Valley Road. NOT Kelso Creek. Kelso Valley Road only goes South. Drive about 2 miles and you will see the school on your right. Sign up at active.com/weldon-ca/running/distance-running/south-fork-fun-run-5k-10k-2019

700 Bristlecone St. Wofford Heights
BRE #01714782
Detached Garage • Mountain ViewsMLS # 2216753 • $162,000
This big two story house is the perfect template to make your own! Located on a quiet street in Wofford Heights,
this home has a private master suite and mountain views from the porches. You can’t beat the location! You are just minutes from Kernville, Isabella
Lake and the Kern River. This foreclosure property needs some TLC, includ-ing work in the kitchen, some flooring and a source of heat, but the template is great. There is SO much potential here for a really great home. The very
unique master suite and bathroom are all barnwood and wood accents. The main home has both formal living and dining room along with a large
bedroom and additional multi purpose rooms.
