• Wet Friction on Pavements are related to both Macro and Micro Texture of the Pavement

• Friction can be maintained at a higher level long term if these parameters are controlled

• Pavements which utilize Steel Slag are higher in both parameters than conventional pavements

The cost is about 1/8 of a noise barrier on one side of the highway, or 1/16 on both sides of the highway.
