Love Letters: About the Play The story is of a 50-year correspondence between Melissa Gardner and her childhood-friend-turned-love-interest, Andrew Makepeace Ladd III. A Pulitzer Prize finalist, the play has been performed in theater spaces all over the world, thanks to its simple staging. A touching romance with comedic moments.
