If You Give a Mom a

Muffin

By: Ms. Meseck and Mrs. Drake’s Kindergarten Class

If you give a mom a

muffin…

She’ll want some chocolate

chips to go in it.

The chocolate will make her

thirsty so she’ll get in her van

and drive to Starbucks

She will ask for a skinny latte with

whipped

cream on top.

The sweet drink will remind

her of my sweet hugs and

kisses

My kisses will remind her to

buy a new lipstick.

So she’ll speed off to Macy’s at

Northgate Mall.

When she’s at Macy’s she will be

distracted by the sparkly diamond

earings.

The sparkly earrings will remind her of

a pair of silver stilettos and a gold dress

she has been wanting.

After buying the fancy new outfit

she will remember it is date night!

For date night she will go out

with her husband to the Olive

Garden

They order soup, salad and a big

spaghetti dinner.

The red spaghetti sauce will

remind her of red roses at Duke

Gardens.

She’ll want to go see the roses and

walk around the garden but she’ll

be too tired!

So she’ll need to go to Dunkin

Donuts for a late night coffee!

And chances

are…

If she gets a coffee…

She’ll want a muffin to

go with it!
