The Problem of Maternal Mortality in Maryland

Project Goals:

The overarching goal of the Healthy Women → Healthy Moms project is to develop a set innovative strategies that reduce maternal morbidity and mortality in Baltimore, Maryland by focusing on the effective prevention and management of those chronic diseases that are the greatest contributors to maternal death and disease in Maryland.

Targeting Women Across the Life CourseThe project will form the plans for a continuum of care for preconception, prenatal, postpartum, and interconception women.
