ENVISAGED PROJECT DEVELOPMENT CONCEPT
MIDC intends to achieve, create and ensure an all-inclusive development by utilizing and incorporating key USPs
The proposed project site is located in Maharashtra, one of the highest growing states of India. The state
contributed exports worth USD 32.04 billion in 2012-13, almost 27% of India’s net exports. The State has
strong industrial base for Engineering, Auto, Electronics, Textiles and Power and has the highest number
of Special Economic Zones and Industrial Estates among all other States in India. The site is located ideally
within the high industrial growth corridor of the state (Mumbai – Pune – Aurangabad – Nashik).

Site Logistic Connectivity Description:
► Site is well connected by a 4 lane State Highway to Chakan (One of MIDC’s largest and well developed Auto and IT Industrial Area of PUNE)
► Presently, traffic from Ahmednagar Highway is routed through Chakan-Talegaon Road and then via Talawade to Nigdi, which joins Pune –
Mumbai NH 4.
► It is proposed by PWD that traffic from Chakan – Talegaon Road will be connected to Pune Mumbai NH 4.
