ABOUT USMDDUS IS AN INDEPENDENT MUTUAL ORGANISATION, ESTABLISHED IN 1902, OFFERING ACCESS TO EXPERT MEDICO-LEGAL AND DENTO-LEGAL ADVICE AND PROFESSIONAL INDEMNITY FOR DOCTORS, DENTISTS AND OTHER HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS THROUGHOUT THE UK.

MDDUS IS A MUTUAL DEFENCE ORGANISATION FOUNDED BY AND FOR HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS, WITH AN EXPERT STAFF OF DOCTORS, DENTISTS, LAWYERS AND RISK ADVISERS WHO ARE LEADERS IN THE MEDICO- AND DENTO-LEGAL FIELD.

MDDUS WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1902 BY A GROUP OF DOCTORS AND DENTISTS CONCERNED BY AN INCREASING NUMBER OF CLINICAL NEGLIGENCE CASES BEING PURSUED IN THE COURTS.

If opting in to the MDDUS “bulk deal”, you pay nothing to us and are covered UK wide.

You are covered for both hospital rotations and GP practice.

We aim to support the programme with our medico legal expertise. We can deliver GPST1/2/3 medico legal talks on a range of medico legal topics i.e Consent, confidentiality, Ethical dilemmas, Prescribing, Information governance…..in fact on most medico legal concerns. Please discuss with your GP trainers
