How to Render In MAYA 2018

Into After Effects

Set Project to your MAYA folder

Change The MAYA Tools to Rendering

Now we will change Setting in Render settings.

Change to MAYA Software

Change to jpeg

Change to name_underscore Change padding to 3

Change the Frames

To the total amount

In your scene dd Change Camera

Change Resolution to

HD 720 OR HD 1080

Switch to MAYA Software Settings

Change Quality to Production Quality and Highest quality

You can adjust shading to add more detail but each

increase can add up to 5 mins per render so be careful

Open Raytracing

Turn on raytracing to add more shadow and

Details. Be careful this can add up to 5 mins per

Render

Now Select Render>Batch Render

Open up your images folder and make sure your batch images are rendering

Open Up after effects

After opening up after effects double click in side of Project

Box below Name to import Images!

Select first image from render

Make sure import/jpeg sequence is selected

Need to change images to 24 frames

Right Click on Import and hold.

The option box will open

Select Interpret Footage

Click on Main

Then change Frames to 24 and press ok

Now Drag the

Movie clip into

The time slider

Press Space Bar

To play video

Export Video

File>Export> Add to render Queue

Render Queue

Render Queue

Will open below

Render out Video

Click on Lossless and click on Format.

Change to

Export the video to where you want!

Click on output to, to save the video

Click Render!
