GCH Doc’s Flashy Gordon BCAT earned two second place qualifying legs in Rally Novice on his first try at Rally during the Paper Cit-ies Kennel Club show in Merrill this weekend

BCAT, after a 3 year hia-

tus, earned two qualify-ing legs in the newer In-

termediate Rally class.

It was a long weekend for all of us, since I al-so helped a friend show some Boston’s in

Conformation and helped earn Best of Win-ners yesterday and Best of Breed to-

day. Things are so much fun, but I am as tired as the dogs.

Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Baker Street Rhythmic Braeburn Apple, aka Braeburn, owned and bred by Yvette Huesler, was Winners Dog for a 3 point major at Sat-urday, April 6, at Paper Cities. He was originally Reserve Winners, but because AKC said I had my other dog entered in the wrong class that won Winners, Brae-

burn got the points. A first for me in 44 years of dog showing.

Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed over a Special for a 4 point major on Sunday April 7,

2019 at Paper Cities.

At the April 26-28 TimberRidge Agility trial held at Camp Bandy, Lola earned

her Excellent FAST title on Fri., and on Sat. earned leg 1 towards the Masters

FAST title.

Kinderteckel's Hollywood Handsome(Flynn) earned his second Rally B leg and

First place on April 6th at the Paper Cities Dogshow. Northwoods Man On The

Moon(Mister) CGC BN GN GO UD RE earned two more Master Rally legs at the

same show and is now five for five Master legs with five more to go.

7:08pm by president Linda Redfield

This was a short meeting due to it being the awards dinner.

Committee Reports:

Website-Jona Decker is working on an issue we’re having with password not working (to get into members only sec-tion).

Spring CAT/Fast CAT-Camp Bandy will not work for this event, Laurie tried measuring several ways and it just isn’t feasible. Looking for a location to have this event.

Old Business:

There is still some equipment for sale, some jumps, check with Laurie Bandy if you’re interested.

New Business:

1. Rose has volunteered to secretary the Spring Obedience trial and Jenny LaPorte has agreed to chair. Judges have already been hired and are great to work with. THANK YOU, ladies, for volunteering!

Guests: Lisa Zimmerman and Mary LaPorte attended their first meeting tonight. Sharon Wrise and Debbie Schmidt were attending their second meeting and were both unanimously voted into the club. Welcome ladies!

May meeting will be in Mosinee. Jenny Laporte agreed to do hospitality.

June meeting will be at Iverson Park in Stevens Point. Everyone brings a snack or treat to share. Meeting was adjourned by

club president Linda Redfield at 7:19 pm.

Awards were given out by coordinator Jenny LaPorte. Jenny, you did an amazing job, thank you for all your hard work! Con-gratulations to all the club members who train and show your dogs in all the venues you love!
