Maths

In maths, the children started by

solving mystery number problems. This

involved carrying out inverse

operations. Can your child show you

how to solve the problem below?

I am thinking of a

number, I subtract 6 and

multiply the answer by

by 7 before adding

another 5. My answer is 33. What

number did I start with?

We then moved on to finding missing

angles. The children learnt that the

angles in a triangle add up to 180o

and angles in quadrilaterals add up to

360o. We also looked at the angles on

a straight line and in a circle. Can your

child find the missing angles below?

Natural History Museum Trip

The children had a fantastic trip to

the Natural History Museum today.

They enjoyed exploring the Human

Biology, Creepy Crawlies, and

Mammals sections. Thank you to all

the parents who came along and

helped out.
