integer

• Any whole number and/or… inverse of a whole number

rational number

• an integer or a fraction.

scientific notation

• A method of writing or displaying numbers in terms of a decimal number between 1 and 10 multiplied by a power of 10

perfect square

• The product of a rational number multiplied by itself.

irrational number

• a real number that cannot be expressed as a rational number

real numbers

• any rational or irrational number.

Density Property

•  It means we can always find a real number between any two real numbers.

Adjacent angles

• angles that have a common ray coming out of the vertex going between two

Coefficient

• A number or symbol multiplied with a variable or an unknown quantity in an algebraic term, as 4 in the term 4x, or x in the term x

Distance Formula

• the formula , which is used to find the distance between two points

Domain

• the set of values of the independent variable for which a function is defined

Hypotenuse

• the longest side of a right triangle, opposite the right angle.

Legs of a right Triangle

• The sides adjacent to the right angle.

Range

• The range of a set of numbers is the highest number minus the lowest number.

Slope

• The rise over the run
