Section 10.1 – Curves defined by parametric equaions

-Distinguish between curve, set of points, and parametric curve, where pattern changes

Two different sets can be made depending on order; (x = cost, y = sint) vs (x = sint, y = cost)

If restrict th parameter to [a,b] the f(a),g9a) is initial and f(b),g(b) is terminal point

Eliminating parameter possible, ields info about shape of curve

Can create a parameter artificially in order to get a graphing device to graph curve;
