Material's first collection. Material is a celebration of the talent in the North East which we feel is not being done justice by the majority of periodicals out there. Not only do we want to produce a magazine full of quality local writings - we also want to create a supportive network where people can feel comfortable, learn and be a part of the bubbling creative movement which looks to be kicking off in the North East. (Keep an eye out for events in the future). No cliché, no cliques – just quality pieces of written work stapled together and sent out to stand proud in the face of mass mediocrity.
