2. About this release 2.5. Problems resolved
20 MasterLogic PLC Software Change Notice R220 Honeywell July 2012
2.5 Problems resolved This section describes the notable problems resolved in this release.
PAR Brief description of the problem
1-MN2NVY Error 104 does not have any information on error message.
1-MN2O2P Warning 43 does not have any information.
1-MN2O6J SoftMaster tool shows a user incomprehensible dialog box on selecting the Module Change Wizard.
1-MN2O9A
When SoftMaster is connected to ML200R through USB and if you continuously perform power OFF/ON, remove/connect DBDT modules, DBDT cables, DBDT reset and so on., then SoftMaster does not responds at times.
1-MN2OAY
In the SoftMaster-NM window, when you right-click the FENet module and selecting Properties in the tree view, the properties of the module are not displayed.
1-MN3EO5 In SoftMaster 3.63, the updated MLPLC user guide is not displayed from the Help menu.
1-MN3EQX
CPU status does not come to online automatically after power OFF both the Master and Standby CPUs and power ON one after another.
1-P2HHZ5 SoftMaster is crashing occasionally while performing online edit operation continuously.
1-P2HHZZ Unable to install SoftMaster on Windows 2K8 server systems.
1-QY2KSI Masterlogic Address Configuration Error for P2P when we use the data size in multiple of 16.
1-R9219U
There is no possiblity to do ON-LINE EDITING. During write an on-line change of Softmaster 3.61 program is terminated with message (It is general information from Windows about problem in application, which needs to close Softmaster and detail information about dll).
2. About this release 2.6. Known issues with MLPLC
R220 MasterLogic PLC Software Change Notice 21 July 2012 Honeywell
2.6 Known issues with MLPLC This section describes the notable known issues with MLPLC.
PAR Brief description of the
problem Work-around/Preventive action
1-IDQPMD Separate flags are needed for ML200R types to differentiate ML200R - CPUH/T & CPU H/F types. This is required to appear in MLDP Communication display.
This is only for display notification and is not on function. At present, common ML200R types are displayed as 2MLR-CPUH/T.
1-IDQPMZ E039 does not show proper LED status.
Remove the power supply of both CPU A and B and connect it again. The PLC shows E039. But the Master - RUN/STOP LED is Green that shows PLC is running, Standby - RUN/STOP LED is RED that shows CPU is stopped. The small sync window in SoftMaster shows both PLC is running.
Functionality is working properly. Only LED status mismatch occurs.
1-IDQPOA After changing and downloading only IO parameters in SoftMaster, if you select Start Monitor, a warning message appears before the monitoring starts.
Functionality is working properly. This warning message can be ignored.
1-IDQPPR Any of the variable name that contains 'load' (For example, overload) in the SoftMaster may result an unexpected behavior of program execution.
Avoid using variable names which contains the word ‘load’.
1-HXO8AD Sometimes, Average Value parameter for an AI module in I/O parameter window shows Red and this does not allow to changing any of the module parameters.
Delete the module from I/O parameter, add manually and then configure it.
2. About this release 2.6. Known issues with MLPLC
22 MasterLogic PLC Software Change Notice R220 Honeywell July 2012
PAR Brief description of the problem
Work-around/Preventive action
1-CWHPS4 In SoftMaster, Communication Module Info under System Monitoring for the CPU module, the Port 1 Number and Port 2 Number information is reversed.
No workaround exists.
1-IZFAPN In DISOE module, Force I/O feature is not available.
No workaround exists.
1-J60Q9B In SoftMaster, when we add some function blocks in a ladder diagram, the shortcut of the function block is also added in the Most Recently Used option in the Function/FB pane. But this shortcut is not appearing in SoftMaster 3.61.
No workaround exists.

4. PLC firmware upgrade 4.5. Upgrading PLC firmware for ML200R CPU online
R220 MasterLogic PLC Software Change Notice 31 July 2012 Honeywell
4.5 Upgrading PLC firmware for ML200R CPU online
ATTENTION
• Only CPU firmware version can be upgraded online and not Expansion Manager/Driver.
• Ensure that the CPU OS version to be installed is compatible with the existing Expansion driver/Expansion manager OS version.
To upgrade PLC firmware for CPU during operation (online), perform the following steps.
ATTENTION
The following procedure is given by considering the CPU A as Master and CPU B as Standby.
Execute the procedure carefully based on your current status of CPU or ensure CPU A as Master and follow the procedure.
Step Action
1 Remove the synchronization cable (OFC) between Master CPU (A) and Standby CPU (B) and all I/O cables connected to Standby CPU (B) to isolate the Standby CPU (B) from operation.
2 Change the mode from ‘REMOTE’ to ‘RUN’ using a key switch. Hence, the isolated Standby CPU (B) becomes a Master CPU (B).
3 Change the isolated CPU to STOP mode, and ensure that the key switch is set back to REMOTE mode
4 Execute MasterLogic OS Downloader 1.1.exe.
