Recruit, train, oversee, and mentor 30-35 undergraduate student ambassadors. Oversee planning and logistics of Orientation Programs for over 2,000 students and their parents/family. Collaborate with student leaders on events to promote their organizations and the university. Recruit academic and administrative department representatives to attend events to educate students on

their services. Serve as liaison to facilities staff, academic departments, and performing arts staff, and communicate

with them on set up of events, technology needs, and their responsibilities.

Conducted staff trainings and retreats for student tour guides, orientation leaders, and telecounselors. Arranged approximately 100 campus tours and visits to campus departments/facilities for school groups,

alumni groups, Upward Bound, school counselors, university staff, and athletics recruits. Communicated with guidance counselors to organize their school group’s campus visit. Organized student panels both in person and via Skype for school groups, Upward Bound, etc. Implemented new customer relationships management software. Created, developed, and executed a two day peer mentor training to educate 6 peer mentors in skills needed to help first year students transition to college, and mentor students through first semester.

Identified learning outcomes for mentor training and developed lesson plans. Developed and implemented an improved program for facilitating group bonding. Coordinated training sessions with several campus representatives and offices on culture shock, self-

care, values and empathy, and emergency response skills. Oversaw EAGLEWeek, a weeklong orientation program for 32 international and at-risk domestic

students.

Served as the on-call professional, living in the residence halls and performing crisis management duties throughout duration of EAGLEWeek.

Provided feedback and advised 6 peer mentors in creation of educational sessions for EAGLEWeek. Supervised and mentored a staff of six peer mentors, including creating staff schedules and providing

constructive feedback on their day-to-day performance. Managed the EAGLEWeek event Facebook page. Organized logistics, travel, reservations, and meal planning/scheduling of off-campus fieldtrips.

Designed and implemented a training program for 5 student information booth workers. Managed building in the evenings and troubleshooted any issues, including double booking of rooms,
