Require learner participationDay 1:
1. Students will be in groups of 3 consisting of the north, thecentral, and the south of Guam. Each group is responsiblefor choosing 6 landmarks in that area.
2.The groups will research landmarks using the Internet orthey can call places around Guam using the phonebook andclass phone. In their groups students will need to write aparagraph about each landmark and find pictures of eachlandmark. Paragraph must include, location, significance,
and three facts.3.When Finished collecting information, the groups will
create a brochure containing each landmark usingMicrosoft Word or Microsoft Publisher.
4.Teacher will assist students in printing out brochures tohandout to classmates after presentation.
Day 2:
1. In groups they will create a presentation using Keynoteabout the landmarks.2.The groups will present landmarks using an LCD projector.
*Speech Impaired student will have an option if he wants touse the Speech tool in MAC to present his part.

2.Brochure has a title, all 6 landmarks including informationand picture, displays creativity by including borders or clipart. (25 points)
3.Keynote Presentation consists all 6 landmarks includinginformation and pictures. PowerPoint must have a least 2animations and sounds. (25 points)
4.Everyone must present. Teacher will evaluate on eyecontact, enthusiasm, gestures, and time frame. (25 points)
