This Army-wide event encourages nov-ice or photography enthusiasts to capture

their favorite views, moments and adven-tures and submit them for prizes. Entries submitted showcase some of the most original and creative minds at work. Entry period is Nov. 12, 2018 - Jan. 20, 2019.

HOLIDAY PROGRAMSWith the holiday season approaching,

annual gift-giving events are gearing up.

Here is information about programs to assist APG Soldiers and families.

Army Community Service (ACS) will hold the Angle Tree Program, a holiday gift drive for Soldier families. For information, call 410-278-7572/2500.

The APG Chaplaincy handles a Holi-day Food Basket for Soldier families at Thanksgiving. For more information, call 410-278-4333/4593.

The Post Commissary will host a Holiday Food Drive. Individuals can place dona-tions in boxes located at the commissary. For more information, call 410-278-3101.

C5ISR HOLIDAY BALLDECEMBER 7

With the theme, �Holidays, Heroes and Heritage: A Celebration of the American Spirit,� APG presents the C5ISR Holiday Ball, 5 to 11 p.m. at Top of the Bay, 30 Plum Point Loop. The evening includes a cock-tail hour, dinner, dancing, door prizes and more. Dress is black tie optional, civilian semi-formal, military mess dress optional, ASU Class A with bow tie.

Menu choices include Americana Steak; Tropical Mango Glazed Chicken, or a veg-etarian option.

FIREWOOD AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE

Firewood generated at APG from con-struction, hazard trees and storm damage, is Army property and is made available to the public for purchase with a firewood per-mit. Logs are available uncut and not split, on a first-come first-served basis, at a cost of $20 per level standard 8-foot pick-up truck, $15 per level standard 6-foot pick-up truck, and $5 per car trunk load.
