Saint Vincent dePaul Reflections:
“The glory of God is man fully alive” by St. Irenaeus. Serving the poor is
a spiritual activity that can help you become more fully alive. Give it a try
this Lent by attending a St. Vincent DePaul meeting in our parish. Meet-
ings start with a prayer, have a spiritual reflection, discuss people we have
helped and end with a prayer.
Be Christ’s ears and eyes by being aware of the needy around you.

Influenza/Coronavirus Concerns
In light of the growing concerns due to the spread of the coronavirus to the state, as well as the continued presence of influenza, and following practices recommended by local health officials, here is our updated position as well as some suggestions/best practices:
Holy Communion from the chalice and the Sign of Peace are to be suspended immediately at all public Masses (both Sunday/holy day and weekday/school mases) until further notice. While both of these prac-tices are normally encouraged (especially Communion from the chalice) at Mass, the current status of the flu and the coronavirus warrants such an action.
If you are feeling ill, stay home to avoid spreading the
disease.
If you are sick or are experiencing symptoms of sick-
ness, you are not obliged to attend Mass.
Priests and extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion
are urges to practice good hygiene, washing their hands before Mass begins or by using an alcohol based anti-bacterial solution.
Limit other opportunities for physical contact both before
and after Mass (hand shaking as you enter of leave church)
