1 Introduction to Transfer Manager
This IOR Router (Transfer Manager) needs to be installed in the Imaging center for the Image Center Technician to upload images or import images to the web server. There are few simple steps to be followed to install this IOR Router.
1.1 Powerful Features
1. Helps to process whereby images are transferred to distant locations for the purpose of interpretation and diagnosis in underserved areas, especially in emergency situations, to increase the reach of subspecialty diagnosis and to ease regional and temporal staffing shortages.
2. Pellucid software is to balance between the demand and availability of diagnostic services. The immediate availability of diagnostic services, which is extremely important during medical emergencies, is a big advantages that outsourcing of radiology or 'night hawking offers.
3. Incorporation of an effective algorithm also helps make diagnosis and treatment easy.
4. Facilities for good retrieval of case history and records make it easy for patients and doctors during follow-up visits.
5. Good archiving facilities also mean that research, clinical studies, response to surgery and treatment can be easily monitored in large population groups.

There are few simple steps to be followed to install this Transfer Manager.
2 Installation:
This has been specially designed to benefit emergency patients in remote villages who have poor access to radiologist center. It is especially useful for imaging center, doctors and radiologist working in remote villages and those who cannot afford the high charge of appointing radiologist. This will help to outsource the radiologist to any place from any where.
The user can download the software from the Radlive portal www.radlive.in

2.2 Step by Step instructions for installation
1. Run Pellucid.TransferManager.exe
2. From the setup screen press Next to start installing.
3. Start installing in default folder (C:\Program Files\). For installing in a different folder, click browse and change the folder path, then press OK and click Install.
4. Finally click on Finish Button to complete the Client Setup.
5. Once the finish button is clicked the following window will appear. Enter the image centre name and password.
6. Verify if the Connect to dropdown as the server mentioned by default to www.Radlive.net.
2.3 Trouble Shooting while installation
1. What do I do if my system hangs up?
This will never happen under normal conditions. However, if it does happens, check to see that no other files are open and running on your system at the same time as when you run IOR Client. Pressing the ctrl, alt and Del key simultaneously will help you to close the system and start afresh.
2. What happen after closing all the files, the software still does not install on my system?
Before installing software, make sure there is sufficient memory in your hard drive. If there is not enough free memory on your hard disk, the software cannot be installed on your machine.
3. How can I check how much free memory is there on my hard disk?
The way to check this is to right click on the My Computer icon. When you do that, it will show you the amount of free space on your computer. If there is no free space available, it will tell you so.
4. How do I create free space on my computer?
If you find that there is not enough free space on your computer, the way to create plenty of free space on your machine is to delete files you do not need.
5. I have done that, but there is still not enough free space on my computer, what do I do now?
That means, there is probably large software programs loaded on your machine, which are occupying lots of space. What you need to do now is to check with your system administrator and ask him or her to uninstall some of those programs. Please start with the ones you absolutely don't need to have on your machine like the games files.
6. Does software use up a lot of memory on my machine?
No, the entire software occupies just 15 MB of space. That's very little space for such a powerful software program.
7. I thought after installing the software, I will be automatically guided about what to do next? But here, all I can see is my own desktop and screen saver? How do I know if the software has been loaded on my machine?
Once installation is complete, no automatic instructions will appear on screen telling you how to get started. When you read this instruction manual carefully, you will know how to go about using your software. To know if your software has been successfully loaded on your machine, you need to look carefully at your desktop (the first screen on your computer). You will find a small image of a key with a man that means the software has been successfully installed.
8. The software icon and color scheme I see on the CD looks very different from the icon that has appeared on my desktop, I wonder why?
The difference in appearance happens when your monitor has not been configured correctly or your monitor has low resolution and limited color adjustment features. If these are the problems with your monitor, you need to change your monitor so Client can be seen correctly on your machine. Before we start with using PTS, it will be easier for you if we explain to you how the software has been structured. The entire software has features to help you record, store and transmit:
Details of all scanned images of the patients
Details of patient case histories including scanned images of the corresponding patients.
3 Working with Transfer Manager:
The Service Manager will help the user to install/start/stop/uninstall the Radlive Transfer Manager Service and Dicom SCP Service.
There are different tabs in the Transfer Manager like:

3.1.1 Service Manager:
The Service Manager will help the user to install/start/stop/uninstall the Radlive Transfer Manager Service and Dicom SCP Service. When the service is installed, the service starts automatically to import and upload studies to the Central Server. To restart the service, use the start/stop buttons.
3.1.2 Import Tab:
The import tab will be used by the user to upload images to the central server. When user clicks on the Select Folder he can choose the images under the folder. Once he clicks on Start Import the studies will be imported to the upload queue. Every file is then compressed and transferred to the server.
3.1.3 Queue:
This tab shows current upload/download status. Selecting a study and clicking on Pause allows user to pause the process. Resume allows user to re-transmit the study again. Remove allows user to delete the study from the upload/download queue.
3.1.4 History:
This display the history detail of upload / download completed studies. Clear history will clear the history list.
3.1.5 Options:
Here the values should be provided to the required fields to enable the proper upload of the dicom files to the server.
3.1.6 Transfer Log:
This tab provides the information about current upload/download process. Clear log provides user to clear the logentry details.
3.1.7 Dicom SCP Log
This gives information about the importing files through the SCP Process. Clear log will clear the log entry details.
3.1.8 About Us
This gives information on the version type and the link to the license agreement.
4 Importing studies using Transfer Manager
4.1 Installing the Server
The Service Manager will help the user to install/start/stop/uninstall the RadLive Transfer Manager Service and Dicom SCP Service. When the service is installed, the service starts automatically to import and upload studies to the Central Server. To restart the service, use the start/stop buttons.
User can see that the Transfer manager will show as mentioned below when the service is yet to be started.
Install Server
Now the Serve Status shows as: RadLive Server Installation is in process.
Start Server
Now click on Start Server and the Server status shows as: Running
.
Stop Server
When user clicks on Stop server, the Server status shows as: Stopped
Uninstall Server
Server Status shows as: RadLive Server Un-installation is in process
4.2 Importing studies using the Import tab
Now when user clicks on Import tab, he can view the below screen.
Click on the select folder and choose the study which needs to be imported and click on start import.
4.3 Verifying if the studies are moved to the queue
4.4 Verifying the Transfer log for the status on the upload
4.5 Verifying the study in the history tab once uploaded successfully
4.6 Verifying the study to be available in the web
Login into the www.radlive.in using the technician login and the study should be available in the worklist.
4.7 Dashboards
The image center and Technician has the dashboards of the studies uploaded at the home with the data of emergency study and study discussion. User can chat with the other users.

5 Tips and Troubleshooting
Most problems with Pellucid Teleradiology can be solved quickly by following the advice in this chapter.
If youre Transfer Manager doesnt work or Respond.
Check the internet connection.
Check the server it should run to which you are connected, check the IP address.
Viewer path would not be set in the back end manager in the server side.
Check the settings of the DICOM viewer according to your viewer.
Check the port number what you have set in the DICOM viewer in the client side.
Check the availability of the studies in the server side to be fetched.
Check the connection between the client and the server.
If the problems still persist then please call the vendor.
