TOPIC 1 : INTRODUCTION

MyExport is an online service that allows Malaysian exporters registered with MATRADE (MATRADE

Members) to access vital trade information.

MyExport is offered to all MATRADE Members for FREE. Exclusive benefits of MyExport are:

Global opportunities – access to timely trade leads, market alerts and international tender

notices compiled by our Trade Commissioners in more than 40 locations across the globe

Trade Reports – updates on market trends and product requirements through our

Product/Market Studies and Malaysia Trade Performance Statistics.

Online Publications – read our online version of Trade Mart and MATRADE ONLINE News

Application Status - check online if your registration or application to MATRADE’s events and

assistance programmes has been approved.

My Profile - update your company’s profile to remain in touch with MATRADE or post your

products images to get noticed on our e-Directory.

TOPIC 2 : SIGNING UP AND LOGIN

2.1 STEPS TO SIGN-UP FOR MYEXPORT

Step 1 : Click the sign up link under the MyExport logo

Step 2 : The user will be redirected to the sign up screen

Click the link “here” to request for Authentication Code

The user will be redirected to the Authentication Request form

Note: User need to key in the ROB/ROC/ROS No., Name, Designation and Email

After submitting the form, the message will be displayed

Step 3 : Upon receiving the ROC / ROB / ROS, MATRADE Reg. No and Authentication Code

information through e-mail, re-visit the sign-up page and key-in all the required information

accordingly and click Submit.

Note : This screen is to validate the company

Step 4 : If the ROB/ROC/ROS No, MATRADE Registration No and Authentication Code are

correct, the user will be redirected to the User Profile screen as shown in the diagram below :

Step 5 : The user can create their username and password by filing up the “MYEXPORT

ACCOUNT” form

Note : If the entered username is already in use, the “Username Already In Use” alert will be

displayed

Step 6 : Submit the form and the success message below will be displayed.

2.2 STEPS FOR MYEXPORT LOGIN

Step 1 : Click the Login link under the MyExport logo

Step 2 : The user will be redirected to the Login Screen

Note: Enter the username and password then click Login.

2.3 STEPS FOR FORGOT PASSWORD

Step 1 : Click the Login link under the MyExport logo

Step 2 : The user will be redirected to the Login Screen

Step 3 : Enter the email address at the “Forgot Password”

Note: The new password will be sent to the specified email

Step 4 : After login, user will be redirected to the main page as attached below and click on the

Change Password link under My Profile link /section.

Step 5 : Key in the new password and confirm it by retyping the new password. Click on the

Submit button.

[5.1] STEPS FOR PUBLISHING PRODUCT AND SERVICE IMAGES

Step 1 : After login, user will be redirected to the main page as attached below and click on the

Post Product Images link under My Profile portlet /section.

Step 2 : Click on the Post Product Images button and the screen below will be appeared. Only

5 products images are allowed to be inserted at one time.

Note: MATRADE will verify and approve the images that have been uploaded and upon approval, images

will be displayed under MATRADE’s MALAYSIA e-DIRECTORY.

In the case of login failure, kindly check with Client Relationship Management Unit (CRMU) at

03-6207 7637 or email info@matrade.gov.my on company’s dormant status and to reactivate

membership.

TOPIC 4 : COMMON DIFFICULTIES IN USING MYEXPORT

Some users might facing some difficulties in using MyExport :

1. Digital Certificate Error Message :

Certificate errors occur when there's a problem with a certificate or a web server's use of

the certificate.

(a) Internet Explorer Click the second option “Continue to this website.. “ then the MyExport login page will be shown

Click button “ Proceed anyway““ then the MyExport login page will be shown

2. Trade Leads are not showing accordingly (Due to Pop-up Blocker)

Pop-up blocker is a browser tool that stops third-party ads and other unwanted content

from appearing on web pages. In order to view the Trade Leads, the pop up blocker

must be turned off.

(a) Internet Explorer:

Follow the steps:

1. Click the Gears button from the top right corner of the screen.

2. Click the "Internet Options" button and click the "Privacy" tab.

3. Click the “Privacy” tab.

4. Locate the line option that says "Pop-Up Blocker". If there is a

checkmark, continue to next step.

5. Click the box with the checkmark in it, to the left of the button labelled

"Turn on Pop-Up Blocker" to remove the checkmark.

6. Click the "Apply" button in the bottom of the Internet Options screen.

7. Finally, click the "OK" button. You may resume viewing the Trade

Leads as usual.

1. Open the Tools menu and click on Options:

3. Click on the Content tab.

4. Remove the checkmark beside the Block Pop-up windows option.

5. Click Ok to close the window.

(b) Google Chrome:

1. Click the wrench icon (Customize and control Google Chrome button) Tool

Menu on the browser toolbar.

2. Select "Settings" from the Chrome menu

3. Select the "Show advanced settings..." link at the bottom of that page

4. Select "Content settings..." from the Privacy section.

5. Select "Allow all sites to show pop-ups" radio button from Pop-ups section

6. Click "Done" to close the window
