Make your own Card Garland Christmas Cards
How to make some really personal cards that children can help with
Merry Christmas to Jenny, Michael, Joseph and Peter
What you will need (1)
White or creamblank cards
(and envelopes)
Christmas stickers (mini)Coloured card
(scraps will do)
Some old Christmas cards
What you will need (2)
GlueGreen, gold or
silver pens
Scissors
Glitter (optional)
Step 1
Making mini cards
This is something your children could help with to make it a family affair
You could just cut out the part of an old card near the fold
You can leave it like it is or add an extra sticker/glitter etc
You can make them from scratch using your coloured card

Cut and score a strip Cut into smaller bits Fold and decorate
Alternatively, your kids could just create some free-hand
Step 2
Making the garland
Using a gel pen, draw a wavy line across the top of your folded card
This looks most festive in gold, silver or green
Stick some of your mini-cards along the line with glue
Use a mixture of colours and sizes
Decorate the ends and gaps in the garland with holly leaves or stars
This just makes it look more festive
Adding the finishing touches
Happy
Christmas!
Add some Christmas greetings along the bottom of the card using the gel pen
You can personalise this or just put something general

Add glitter, sparkles or stickers as you wish
