Upon visiting the walled city of Nicosia, one notices the physical and mental borders. The notion of borderism enables a point of digression towards the intensity of the cultural unity. It further constrains an inequitable balance on the perception of one. The Venetian fortification resembles an abstract sun figure portraying values of unity; the walled city includes architectural works from various timelines promoting a zeitgeist of the
past denizens. The political borders remain speeches of separation. OverflyingOverflying the barcodes of barricade one would become conscious to the
commonality in every individual, dualistic state of mind has obtained an oblivious sentiment to the similarity in both Turkish and Greek values.

One of the main symbols of peace presented in natural form, lives through years of change of its neighboring dwellers, the olive tree is positioned in the center of the building which is enclosed by a glass partition illuminating the ideal values and will be accessible to the
attendant of unity.
Extracting lines and relations from the nodes and neighbor buildings, the bastion preceding it became an invigorative sculpture garden. The movement via the projected lines diffusely molded the gaps and pathways.

Entertainment media center refers to the digital age and human interaction. It transcends the abstract expressions of the advances in technology.
THE DESIGN IS BASED ON SELF-ORGANIZING SYSTEMS WHICH DISPLAY CAPACITY FOR ADAPTATION IN THE PRESENCE OF CHANGE, AN ABILITY TO RESPOND TO STIMULI FORM THE DYNAMIC ENVIRONMENT.
ECOLOGICALECOLOGICAL UNDERSTANDING OF ARCHITECTURE THAT PROMOTES THE DIFFERENTIATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL
CONDITIONS THROUGH A MORPHOLOGICAL INTELLIGENCE, WHICH PROMISES NOT ONLY A NEW SPATIAL PARADIGM FOR ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN, BUT ALSO A FAR MORE SUSTAINABLE ONE THAT LINKS THE PERFORMANCE CAPACITY OF MATERIAL.
TheThe entertainment media center is strategically positioned in a commercial district neighboring a
graveyard. The eco system existing at the graveyard has impelled an organic distribution which intakes the shaping of the entertainment media center. The neighboring static buildings conduct low life activity.

Located in Nicosia, Gonyeli acts as a threshold towards the mountain range. The project explores the creation of a community center and retreat for the study of
water and sunlight in pursuit of sustainable applications. The compound became rooted to the site through maximizing views and sun orientation. A cultural hall was included in order to inform transient of current progressions and overall
functions to the construct. The notion of rain collection through a sloping roof that held excess water became an important means to convey the task of
“rere-information” to visitors of the site and provide an identity to the building.

Entering the community center a linear process
occurs along the path creating a “beginning” for the users. The hallways pronounce a cultural awaking, directing the conscious to a forgotten realm. The route leads to the cultural hall which hosts all the
cultural activities and exhibits “sustainable art”.
TheThe double skin façade protects the south facing exterior walls from sun exposure and transforms
the direct sunlight to daylight for maximum usage. The ornamented skin acts as a visual connection to
the “forgotten Cypriot value”.accumulation of cultural relation

The sustainable applications incorporated into the design of the
community center inform the users of alternative methods for increasing
consciousness in sustainable living. The curved roofs direct the rainwater on to the green roof and plantations. Photovoltaic are installed on top of the roofs providing energy for the community center and neighboring
buildings.

By defining a “club house” one would realize a space occupied by a certain social group. The users and their activities define the quality of space and create the sense of engagement. The equestrian club house seeks to concede the significance of its values into an iconic formation. The focus of the project was to capture the activity of the users – dynamism and exuberance of the sport. The monumental figure stands as a symbolic gesture towards its visitors and users, predominating it’s values into a visionaryvisionary aspect. The slanting walls are angled inward and outward depending on the user’s interference and functions.

The De stijl movement sought to express new utopian ideal on
spiritual harmony and order. The founder Theo Van Doesburg created various paintings portraying such values. The concept of the house is the translation of 2d images to 3d forms succeeding the ideals of the movement. Rethinking, Re-evaluating, re-drawing, reforming, re-understand, all take part on the process of translation. Expressing the visionary’s transformation in the planes of time to abide abide by the values set of ideals formulated.
The Van Doesburg house is oriented to benefit from the
all the distinguished views and to form hallways for
art exhibitions. Each block has a eminent color symbolizing the spaces such as; yellow hallways, red public spaces, blue private spaces, and the combination as the art studio.

variations of the module system

Located on the peninsula of Cyprus Karpasia The project explores the creation of an "eco campus" including facilities such as; English foundation school, eco village, aquatic center, and a research center The context implies a delicate eco system that produces articulatory
values, the naturistic values are interpreted into a module system exploring the growth of the complexity Core elements of the site all became nodes which generated a system of measure and
grid for site placement The compound became rooted to the site maximizing views and sun
orientation as a pursuit of sustainable applications.

the INTERNSHIP was held with the collaboration of girne municipality The assignment was to improve
kyrenias harbor areaAtaturk square kyrenia castle and empty bay near it It included landscape
design building restorations and proposal for activities in the new area The concept of our proposal
WAS TO ACHIEVE THE RIGHTEOUS ESSENCE OF THE SEA AND MAXIMIZING THE INTERREALTIONSHIP BETWEEN THE
PEDESTRIAN AND the WATERFRONT THE MOVEMENT OF THE WAVES BROUGHT AN ABSTRACT FIGURE WHICH CAME TO
THE REALIZATION OF THE WAVE CONCEPT which was used in all the elements such as pavements street
furniture sitting spaces next to the sea and the young harbor building proposal
the aim was to achieve unity in the whole
area, consisting of the same language along the way. A new construction was suggested to the bay near the castle. This bay is tagged as ‘young harbor’, which would create a vibrant new focus for young population as a
