PM-7 Machine Process Details

Sil Hydraulic Headbox Where many of the important paper properties are

determined.

Press SectionRemoval as much water as possible from the paper wet

and compresses it.Wet pressing less a significant affect on paper

properties(when the paper wet strength is good).

Dryer SectionWater is removed from the paper by evoporationIn dryer roll saturated steam is usedThere are 43 dryer rolls out of which 31 at

predryer 12 at postdryer rolls.

Vacuum RollWater is removed from the paper by Vacuum
