• It is story of two young girls - step-sisters - Mother's (half witche's) own daughter Paija and her step-daughter Maija
• Maija is a kind, beautiful and very diligent girls, and is not afraid of any work others make her do. Paija is nasty, whimsical and lazy, and can't do anything properly
• One day they both come down to the underworld, and have to show who they are. And both are rewarded according to their good or bad deeds
• Maija gets a prince, who in reality is Varis, who has been under a spell, and now has woken up, but...
