Find the document/file that you wish to open and click on it
This next screenshot may look different depending on what internet browser you
are using. The idea is not to open the document but to save it onto your PC or
Memory Stick. So please choose the relevant option which should read ‘Save
As’
Navigate to the place you wish to save the file and click save.
Once you have saved the document/file it makes sense at this point to delete the
old file that exists in Mahara.
To do this simply click on the ‘delete’ icon
Then click OK to confirm that you are going to delete the file
(Please make sure that you are deleting the correct file as once you click OK the
file will not be able to be retrieved)
Once you have deleted the document/file you can simply work on the file you have downloaded to your PC or memory stick. Once you have finished working on the document you need to re-upload the file back
into Mahara.
