When artistic explorer Vishakha Chanchani set out on this quest, she was led back
thousands of years to paintings in caves . . .
Art appreciation assemblies in Valley School, Bengaluru, inspired her to handpaint a long
scroll.
In the scroll, she imagined how the first artists may
have tried their hand at the first canvases . . .
. . .the walls of rocks and caves.
The scroll unrolls once again in the pages of Cave Art, the latest addition to the Looking at Art series, to tell
