Lodge Park can be hired for your ceremony, your reception or both. If you’re lookingfor somewhere for your photos we can do that too. Exclusive use ensures that thishistoric place and beautiful surrounding parkland is just for you and your guests.

Lodge Park is England’s only surviving, and probably most opulent, seventeenthcentury Grandstand, complete with beautiful historical parkland. Built in 1634 forgambling, banqueting and entertaining Lodge Park today offers a romantic andrural back drop to your big day. The perfect use for a place fashioned solely for thepursuit of enjoyment and celebration.

Our licence for civil weddingceremonies covers three spaces:

The Great Room, reached by an impressive oak staircaseand with beautiful views from the balcony can seat up to80 people for a ceremony, or 100 standing.

The Little Hall, situated on the ground floor, offers asmaller space for ceremonies and seats 50, or 60 standing.

The stone-pillared Grand Portico to the front of theGrandstand gives you an opportunity for an outdoorceremony, with up to 200 guests seated in the freshCotswold air or under a marquee or gazebo.

Our Approved Premises Licence is granted by theGloucestershire County Council. Please contact theRegistrars directly to ensure they are available on yourchosen day. Gloucestershire.gov.uk/registration.

Whether you’ve got your heart set on a lavish weddingbreakfast, a vintage afternoon tea or a relaxed barbeque,Lodge Park has the flexibility to make your dreams cometrue.

The Great Room, once the banqueting hall of John Dutton,is perfect for sit-down meals for up to 70 people. The front lawn offers a stunning space for a drinksreception and lawn games. It is also a great setting for amarquee for larger receptions and dancing the night away.

Lodge Park offers a blank canvas upon which you can makeyour own mark with your chosen theme and decorations.
