NO, parents do not need to sign a form for IIT, but they do need

to be aware of it. The teacher should contact the parent about

IIT.

The three areas on the IC triangle are the student, the instruction, and

the task. All of these should be considered during Problem

Identification.

The Lisbon IIT team meets twice a month in the conference room from 2:45 pm to 3:40 pm

on Tuesday’s.

One strategy is to use a rubric with each part of the BCR

specified. The student could also use a peer to help review the checklist to make sure the

BCR had enough detail.

Data can be collected by taking the average of work completed each

week or the percentage of accuracy on spelling tests each week.
