Myrtle Fillmore, Mother of Unity, gave Hopkins the most credit: The influence of

Emma Curtis Hopkins on the Fillmore’s during the last few years of the nineteenth

century cannot be overstated.

Mr. and Mrs. Fillmore enrolled in a study course in Chicago with Mrs. Hopkins.

On June 1, 1891, both Myrtle and Charles Fillmore were ordained.

The Fillmores and Emma kept up a correspondence for the next thirty years.

Myrtle Fillmore said, "I know of no other writings which mean so much to me as

Emma’s do."

“She is undoubtedly the most successfulteacher in the world.

In many instances those who enterher classes confirmed invalids come

out at the end of the classes perfectly well”

Rev. Charles Fillmore, 1895

“ Her very presence heals and thosewho listen are filled with new life.

Never before on this planet have suchburning Truth been so eloquently

spoken through a woman.”

Rev. Charles Fillmore, 1895
