Lesson 2

Today we will be writing the beginning of

our story.

How do fairy tales normally start?

Once upon a time…

Far, far away…

In a land that time forgot…

Deep in the forest lived…

Look at the beginning of my story:

Once upon a time in a gingerbread

house, there lived a fairy called

Beatrice. She was a lovely fairy and

looked after all animals in the forest.

One day, Beatrice found some

breadcrumbs on her way back home.

When you are writing,

Lesson 3

Today we will be writing the middle part

of our story.

• Do you remember what has happened so

far in your story?

Beatrice noticed two little trolls spreading

the breadcrumbs near her gingerbread

house. She asked them to stop but the

trolls ignored her. They gave her a nasty

look and said their names are Hansel and

Gretel. The trolls said they were hungry and

started to eat Beatrice’s house.

When you are writing,

remember about:

What has happened so far

in your story?

Today we will write the end.

Beatrice grabbed her magic wand and muttered a

spell. Hansel and Gretel gave out a terrifying

squeal. You could not see anything because there

was a big, grey cloud of smoke. Few minutes later,

in a place when Hansel and Gretel stood, there

were two green frogs croaking madly. Beatrice

smiled and picked the frogs from the floor. She

told them they can now stay with her as pets

until they learn how to behave better.

When you are writing,

remember about:
