In the history of the humankind there were many different great people around the world who influenced and changed our life by thinking different.

Da Vinci is one of the most important and most famous people of the humankind. …

Leonardo da Vinci was born on April 15 1452 in a Vinci.

Vinci is a small city-state in Italy .

Leonardo’s ChildhoodIn Vinci Leonardo went to school. In school Leonardo learned how to read

write and to calculate. He also learned geometry and Latin.

Florence, ItalyHe moved to Florence When he was about 12

years old. Was the apprentice to Andrea del Verrocchio, a

famous Italian artist. Verrocchio taught how to paint, sculpt in wood, stone and clay, how to cast metal objects in silver and gold, and how to make brushes.

Leonardo The Artist Leonardo painted many important

paintings for the Christian church. Like…

Milan (1482-1499)“The Last Supper”

"Baptism of Christ" 1472-1475

“St.Jermoe” 1481

“The Benois Madonna”1478

but the most known wasnot for the church the Mona

Lisa. (1503-1505/1507)

France (1516), Amboise, Le Clos LuceDies 2 May 1519

DISCOVERIES AND INVENTIONSHe created a machine like our modern day helicopter

called the corkscrew flyer. He had many ideas for airplanes even though he never

created one.He also created a diving suit for swimming. He had ideas to make portable bridges. He had ideas to make cannonballs. He made several other bird like things.Leonardo discovered by putting gears and levers at

the right angle and right spot that it could be very useful.

AnatomyLeonardo drew many studies of the human skeleton and its

parts, as well as muscles and sinews. He studied the mechanical functions of the skeleton and the muscular forces that are applied to it in a manner that prefigured the modern science of biomechanics. He drew the heart and vascular system, the internal organs, making one of the first scientific drawings of a fetus in utero. As an artist, Leonardo closely observed and recorded the effects of age and of human emotion on the physiology, studying in particular the effects of rage.

How Leonardo wroteLeonardo wrote backwards and upside down. He did this so

he wouldn’t be prosecuted by the church by not believing that God does everything

Leonardo made over 200 pages of drawings and many pages of notes towards a treatise on anatomy.

Working in all areas of knowledge and art, it everywhere was original and great; and not his fault if his merits in the field of a science and philosophy were estimated too late…

The End!
