Initiated by Lenswood Memorial Park. Apple & Pear section of SA Fruitgrowers’ & Market Gardener’s Assn provided £300 for publicity and

services of their Marketing Director as organiser (R Edwards).11 entrants in Queen competition (from Ashton, Balhannah, Basket Range, Blackwood, Forest Range, Kersbook, Lenswood, Paracombe, Summertown,

Torrens Valley, Uraidla.
