Highlights the historical complexity of this area.
On April 9 [O.S. March 27] 1918, the Sfatul Ţării decided with 86 votes for, 3 against and 36 abstaining, to unite with the Kingdom of Romania. The union was conditional upon fulfillment of the agrarian reform, autonomy, and respect for universal human rights. A part of the interim Parliament agreed to drop these conditions after Bukovina and Transylvania also joined the Kingdom of Romania, although historians note that they lacked the quorum to do so.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY: DISCOURSE ANALYSIS
The role of discourse in the construction of the world
The purpose of the research is to get behind the discourse, to find what people really mean
Laclau&Mouffes’s discourse theory:
The subject is fundamentally split it never quite becomes itselfIt acquires its identity by being represented discursivelyIdentity is thus identification with a subject position in a discursive structureIdentity is discursively constituted through chains of equivalence where signs are sorted and linked together in chains in opposition to other chainsIdentity is always relationally organisedIdentity is changeable just as discourses are,
apud Jorgensen M., Phillips, L., 2002, p.43

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY: SAMPLING STRATEGY
Also called chain referral reputational or respondent-driven sampling
It is a multistage technique. It begins with one or a few blogs and spreads out based on links to the initial cases.

PRELIMINARY CONCLUSIONS
The 2.0 Moldavian identity/identities issue mainly have two dimensions: a past-oriented one (historical perspective), linking to interpretation of past events that influence the country’s specifics, and a future-oriented one, representing the different perspectives of Moldavian citizens vis-a-vis the country's future.
