VVIIRREESSCCEENNSS TTEENNEERRAA CCLLOONNEESS
Superior Clonal Planting Materials Produced From Selective Breeding Using Elite Duras & Pisiferas Combined With Tissue Culture Technology FEATURES Virescens clonal plantlets produced by United Plantations Berhad have the
following characteristics:
Proven genetic base
Tested over a broad range of environments & soil types
Produced under stringent quality control protocols
Facilitates the identification of ripe bunches even on tall palms
High precocity and high sustained oil yields
High oil extraction rate
High Yielding Young Mature Virescens Tenera Palms
High Mesocarp and Oil Content – High OER
Performance of Virescens Ortets
Note: 1) FFB yield in tonnes/ha at a density of 136 palms/ha 2) 1st year yield is based on 9 months of harvest

TENDER DRINKING COCONUTS
“Nature’s Refreshing Isotonic Drink”
Tender drinking coconuts are selectively harvested from 7-8 month old bunches when the endosperm is still soft. They are immediately delivered to the processing plant where they are hygienically processed to retain their freshness and wholesomeness. Three new high yielding Dwarf hybrids have been developed at United Plantations Berhad specifically to cater for the tender nut market. They are: CAMMA - (Cameroon Dwarf x Malayan Yellow Dwarf) MATA - (Malayan Yellow Dwarf x Tacunan Dwarf) MACA - (Malayan Yellow Dwarf x Catigan Dwarf) Features
• High nut yield, ranging from 30,000 to 37,000 nuts/hectare
• Medium to large nut size containing 400 ml to 700 ml of water per nut
• Sweet with pleasant flavour and aroma

2) It has quick acting as well as slow release action ensuring steady and
continuous supply of nutrients to plants 3) It is a soil conditioner. It improves soil structure, aeration and water
holding capacity of the soil 4) It promotes root development, vegetative growth, flowering and fruiting 5) It promotes the growth of beneficial soil fauna 6) It is largely of plant origin and does not contain any animal waste or
harmful attributes 7) It consists of free-flowing uniform granules 8) It does not scorch plants 9) It does not contain weed seeds 10) It has a low moisture content (<7.0%) and is dust-free
Recommendations:
1) Vegetables Apply at 0.25-0.40 kg per sq metre area. Repeat application at 1 month interval until harvesting.
2) Fruit Trees Depending on the age and size of trees, apply between 0.5 – 1.5 kg of BAJA RIA around the base, every 3 to 4 months. 3) Pot Plants
Depending upon pot size and age of plant, apply between 20 gm to 40
gm of BAJA RIA per pot every 8 to 12 weeks and fork in lightly.
4) Lawns
Broadcast at 50 – 75 gm per sq metre.
