Lassonde School of Engineering

Lassonde School of Engineering, known for it's

unique architectural design is heightening the

learning experience of students by fostering

creativity and emphasizing a hands on

approach. It's cutting edge labs and learning

spaces with white boards lining the walls

encourage collaboration and generation of

new ideas.

The award-winning building was designed by

Toronto's ZAS Architects and interior build by

UK-based construction firm Laing O'Rourke in

partnership with the Gillam Group.

Millwork provided by Archmill House Inc.

Archmill House provided millwork for the

window sills, surrounds, white boards and bench.

Archmill House provided the Lassonde reception desk and the triangular ceiling detail.

Triangular feature ceiling detail manufactured from MDF and frosted acrylic.

Archmill House manufactured the window sills.

Banquet seating area by Archmill House.

windows. Every one was

different, each surround

was custom. It required us

to provide separate

drawings, cut-lists, and

processes, for each.”

Window surrounds made out of MDF and laminate along with solid nosing.

The cutting edge labs and learning spaces are equipped with white marker boards provided by Archmill House.

Aged Ash wall paneling, benches and marker boards by Archmill House.

The Dean’s office desk, wall paneling with cabinets by Archmill House.

Archmill House provided the window surrounds.

Stand up table and banquets provided by Archmill House.
