of theirs gardens with beautiful flowers, fresh
tomatoes, green beans and again
this year, Dennis’ peppers
were made into his “famous” hot sauce was entered into the
Rock County Fair !

MVH-L residents enjoyed seeing the 4-H livestock
and festivities at the Rock County Fair.
Not to mention, they even enjoyed some fair food
while they were at the fairgrounds!

Tour of the ROCK COUNTY HISTORICAL CENTER

MVH-L Residents visited the Rock County Historical Museum.
There are over 4,000
Nutcrackers on display and many historical artifacts to
see and learn about.

MVH-L Veterans toured the Herreid Military Museum located in Luverne, MN.
What a treasured hometown tribute that honors those that
have served our country.

Another local tour was at Quality Printing,
a local print shop that makes thousands of different products. The residents had a guided tour showing
how a press works, the printing process and the new technology behind
the scenes at a print shop.
Quality Printing will be celebrating 20 Years in
business in November 2019.

2nd District American Legion Commander,
Cindy Brunk made it her project to raise
funds to purchase a new soft serve ice cream
machine for MVH-Luverne.
Commander Brunk presented the ice
cream machine at Social Hour with a
dedication ceremony and ICE CREAM!

Effective January 1, 2019, the cost of a Holiday Meal Ticket Will increase to $10.00 (including tax).
Holiday Meal tickets purchased prior to January 1, 2019 will continue to be honored.
Just as a reminder, the Holiday Meals are the following:
Valentine’s Day Noon Meal
Easter Noon Meal
Mother’s Day Noon Meal
Father’s Day Noon Meal
Harvest Moon Ball Evening Meal
Thanksgiving Day Noon Meal
Christmas Day Noon Meal
The Regular Meal ticket will remain the same at $6.00 (including tax).
