DESCRIPTION

As a mean of discussion on integrity of collected ELOG data at water-well KSG007.

TRANSCRIPT

ISSUES: Integrity of Gamma log

• ONWater’s Jens H.P. Norgaard has doubt on the gamma log collected @KSG007

• The doubtful depth is between 20 to 30m where there’s low reading and a high kick

• A rerun has been requested by ONWater without clear justification

• This PPT is a mean of discussion on the above issue

Gamma Log from TCGS & ELOG sonde collected@KSG007 and KSG008

Gamma log data from KSG008 which is approx. 1.9km north of KSG007 is

being compared to show a possible geology similarity between them.

Conclusion:

Both tools basically provide a reliable gamma log data. The anomaly observed is possibly that

of the subsurface and not of that of the tool and operators. A rerun wouldn’t be necessary

here.
