Omaha Spring Cleanup
• April 14th – May 19th, 9am – 2pm, multiple sites/day
• Designated sites each Saturday for:– Tires & lead-acid batteries
– Metal appliances
• Arrive prior to 8am + staff thru 3pm
• Around 8am meet with truck driver to set up site
• Between 8am – 8:30am meet City Inspector (safety cones, vests, & event packet)

Event Packet & Instructions

• Set up safe place for volunteers to check in + ensure everyone wearing safety vests
• Do NOT accept items before 9am + cut off line at 2pm
• Volunteers = direct traffic, walk the line & greet people, hand out items, etc.
• Residents expected to unload, but volunteers can help at their own risk
• Truck drivers are not contracted to help unload

• Full truck load of yard waste = give voucher
• Small amount of branches + stumps = accept
• Grass clippings + leaves = do NOT accept (resident should place curbside)
