NHS Digital Academy

• Responsible for making sure standards of international excellence are being met in training and education.

• Will support and develop the chief clinical information officers (CCIOs), chief information officers (CIOs) and ‘up and coming’ leaders from the Global Exemplar and National Exemplar Trusts.

• Will also complement the existing ‘Building a Digital Ready Workforce (BDRW)’ programme.

• Looking for a UK university to host the Academy and develop a tailored programme of support. Competition will launch shortly.

• Delivery model will include: Distance learning (as taking time out for CCIOs/CIOs will be impractical) Buddying with international partners (to provide greater experience) Experiential/practical learning through implementation of digital health

systems at our Global and National Exemplar sites
