Marlin’s Meat Raffle This raffle was originally the “Memorial Day Meat Raffle.”
Drawing Date: June 28, 2020
Thank You in advance for supporting this SHJ fundraiser.
Cleaning of our Churches While our county is in the yellow and green phases, we are under directives from the Bishop to perform a specific sanitation
protocol at the conclusion of every Liturgical Service. We need parishioners to volunteer their time to help us with this task each
week. 6 volunteers for Weekend Masses and 4 volunteers for Weekday Masses are needed. We would like to have as many
people volunteer as possible. If we get enough volunteers, a schedule can then be created and the same people would need to
help every time. Many hands make for light work. The duties are as follows… cleaning of the pews, doors and door handles,
railings, bathroom and other frequently used surfaces.
If we do not receive enough volunteers, we will not be able to celebrate all Weekend Masses publicly and will need to cut down
to the number of Masses for which we have volunteers.
If you would like to volunteer, please contact Tiffany at the parish office with your name and the date/s on which you would like
to volunteer. Phone: 717-453-7895 Email: TJones@hbgdiocese.org

OL – Sundays – Ruth, Kelli & John Kerwin, Jeff Pendal, Mary Siemanski

Father’s Forum I thank God that we are able to worship together again, in person. These last several months have been difficult on
all of us and on our communities. I thank each of you for remaining steadfast to our faith and to each other, and I
thank you especially for your words of encouragement, phone calls, letters and cards, and continued financial
support. I thank you for the very generous financial response to the call of our Knights of Columbus to help those
who were more impacted by the pandemic.
I understand that some of you may think we should not be held to the Diocesan Annual Campaign (DAC) goal that
was established by the Diocese. Please stop and think what will happen if our parish and parishes throughout the
Diocese do not meet their goals. How many single mothers will send their children to bed hungry because they have
no food? How many families will be sleeping in their cars because they have no home? How many of our young
people will lack the faith formation they desperately need because we have no formation resources? In our parish,
there are a significant number of parishioners who have already supported the DAC, and for those gifts, I am grateful
for your generous support. There are also a number of parishioners who have never made a gift to the DAC. The
Diocese’s support of our parish has never been more important as it is this year, as we had to transition to new ways
of staying in touch with you, and procuring the needed supplies recommended for the reopening of our Churches.
We would not have been able to do it on our own.
The 2020 DAC will run until January 31, 2021.
